“Black Visionaries”

Celebrating Entrepreneurship in the San Joaquin Valley.

The African American Historical & Cultural Museum (AAHCM) of the San Joaquin Valley proudly presents “Black Visionaries,” an exhibition that celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit of Black pioneers who shaped the San Joaquin Valley. From August 27th to September 24th, immerse yourself in a rich historical narrative that highlights the contributions of African American entrepreneurs who played pivotal roles in the development of the region.


The exhibit showcases archival photographs, personal stories, and historical artifacts that bring to life the achievements of these visionary leaders. Visitors will explore the legacies of these trailblazers, learning how their innovative spirit and resilience fostered economic growth and community building in the face of adversity.
